In 2004, Arial and the Montana
Southern Baptist Convention formed a partnership.
Each year since then, Arial and the REAP churches
have sent out teams of volunteers to help with a new
church plant, construction projects, Bible schools
and sports camps. These areas of ministry were in
Billings, Red Lodge, Belfrey, Fort Smith, Livingston
and Laurel, Montana.
Want to join one of the Montana Mission Teams?
Meetings will be held on a regular basis
until the teams' departure time which is usually in
late June and early July. As a new area of ministry,
we plan to send a team to Miles City this summer.
As mentioned above, the REAP Churches consists of
Elljean, Arial, Park Street, Daystar & Corinth. All
of these churches are in the Easley area.
Arial is proud to announce that our own Brian and
Holly Lawson are currently serving as Mission
Service Corps volunteers in Miles City, Montana.

Since 2006, several of our ladies
have been making watch caps for the International
Seafarers Ministry in Charleston, SC. As seafarers
come into the port of Charleston, starting in
October, they are given a Christmas gift. This gift
contains hygiene items, a warm cap and a salvation
tract. Since our ladies have started with this
ministry, they have made a total of 742 caps.
More women have expressed an interest in learning
how to knit or crochet so that they can help with
this worthy mission project. Classes will be ongoing
and if you are
interested in learning how to make these caps, call
the church office at (864) 859-7234 to sign up. A
list of needed supplies, etc., will be available
soon.
